$0 in my pocket, but feeling like Millionaire

As a final project of Entrepreneur Design class I had to make $1,000. As a result, I failed it. Not only couldn’t make money, I even not launch my final project. I learned many things from my fail point.

First, my concept couldn’t meet it’s original goal. I missed direction. When I made first strategy for my final project, It looks clear to achieve. However, I fail to communicate with my final delivery. I realized that the concept and right direction is always top priority.

Second, I did not talk about what am I doing. My final project was designing template for mobile applications. At the end of March, I already started to design elements, without talking others. If I talked to others earlier I would have chance to modify.

Even though I failed my final project, I feel like perfectly OK! Not only learn those fail points but also got great side projects instead.

1. New York Everyday

I took lots of pictures since I stay in New York area, I don’t think I’m a great photographer. (I even just using my phone camera) But I always wanted to share my view point to the world.  And when I was in Korea, I dreamed life in NY. It would be great to share life in here to the outside of world! Those were my first goal. Maybe It is good start point, during 2 months, I’ve got 100 followers, almost 2,000 reblogs. They are from all around world!

2. AndroidUX.com

Honestly, I got this domain as second domain of my final project, But our professor Gary & Christina preferred more than my final project’s. Without debut I launched this site. It’s collection of mobile application’s, I also did this things when I was in company for research competitors. It’s kind of extension of my career as well.

These side projects are not money making or powerful career development model, yet. But I believe it’s great seed for the future. That’s why I’m more exciting after the finish the class.

I specially want to say thanks to Gary & Christina. You are the heroes!
